The University of Massachusetts Medical School, where the MBSR we know and love was born, has recently upgraded their website. They have a lot of info on the various training they sponsor - both for teachers and practitioners - but they also have an active and vibrant web forum called "The Living Room". There are all sorts of discussions there, both on teacher training and certification, but also on the nitty gritty of meditation. In fact just a few days ago someone was looking for a teacher to do an intro to MBSR to a Veterans retreat in New Jersey late in April. The discussions I've seen there are the sort that I envision for our humble web site here someday, but with a focus on Veterans and their uses of mindfulness and MBSR-related skills and insights. If you want to learn more about mindfulness, or just follow your curiosity about how others are experiencing mindfulness and meditation in their lives or work, I encourage you to check it out. There are many so-called 'mindfulness'sites popping up lately, so we need to filter out the bogus ones. CFM is of the highest quality and we recommend them. The link to the home page of the Center For Mindfulness is HERE. Once there look for " The Living Room". You need to register to participate but it's pretty simple. To go straight to their Living Room forum click HERE. Enjoy.
