Great book, he was also on the Mindfulness Summit, day 2, and I took notes on that if anyone wants more details (his interview on the summit was mostly a condensation of his book)
Very readable, witty and humorous, written in a casual style from an atheist/agnostic/cynic. He tells his own personal evolution with the whole mindfulness thing and at the same time tells of his life as a TV journalist, talking head.
His summaries of the mindfulness/Buddhist ,literature and tradition are, I think, quite good. Recommended maybe for that friend or relative who thinks your meditation is 'hogwash', you might want to give them this one. :}
