Just found these rather impressive websites. Looks like they've been at this awhile. This is in addition to the one in California we linked to in another item. www.prisonmindfulness.org/prisonyoga.org/FYI: At our last Monday meditation group with Dr Jenna we discussed possibly doing something ourselves to teach mindful meditation to local inmates. This is in the discussion /development stage but wanted all to know we're working on something and welcome anyone's input.

Came across this blog post about meditation and mindfulness in Prisons, written by the Executive Director of the Prison Mindfulness Institute, Kate Crisp, a recent blog post of the website prisonmindfulness.org. The article is based on her experience teaching mindfulness/meditation in prisons.
