While this type of breathing differs significantly from the mindfulness meditation taught in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) 8 week program, it is complementary to having a mindfulness practice and members tell us that they use it now alongside their other meditation and mindfulness tools. Those Delaware members who have taken (and use) Power Breathing report it as highly beneficial. Since -- as we know-- "The Body Keeps the Score",as far as PTSD, chronic pain etc which veterans experience goes, anything which enables us to get out of our heads and be more in the moment with what our body is doing NOW -- it all merits examination. Feedback from any of you about your experience with Power Breathing posted here would be greatly appreciated.
